Lotus F1 Team driver Kimi Raikkonen will present an F1-inspired special edition Lotus Evora GTE at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6.
No specifications were provided, but we do know from its world debut in Frankfurt last year, the Evora GTE is a street-legal variant of its GTE race car .
Despite being a special edition within an already special edition car, it should be mentioned that Lotus announced the Evora S GP Edition late last year.
The Evora GTE road car features a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 444 PS (327 kW / 438 hp) via a sequential AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) racing gearbox. The hand-built car rides on lightweight, forged alloy wheels with central locking wrapped with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.
Lotus makes use of carbon-fiber in the Evora GTE's construction so as to reduced weight by 105 kg (227 lbs) over the standard Evora model. Carbon fiber is also found throughout the interior in addition to lightweight carbon fiber Recaro seats trimmed in leather.
Stay tuned as more information and photos will be released leading up to its public reveal in Geneva.
