Berger tells Raikkonen to quit the vodka

Former Formula 1 driver Gerhard Berger is somewhat perplexed by Kimi Raikkonen’s decision to make a comeback with Lotus Renault and has advised the Iceman to stay off the vodka.
Raikkonen, the 2007 world champion with Ferrari has signed a two-year contract with the F1 team starting in 2012.
Reacting to Raikkonen’s recent claims, that he had not lost his speed nor his motivation and declaration that his passion for F1 remains intact, Berger raised his eyebrows when he read the words on the Lotus Renault website.
The former head of Toro Rosso and 10 times Grand Prix winner told ToileF1, “Kimi is someone nice, a rare bird who brings with him a lot of color to Formula 1. His return is positive.
“But is he capable of reaching the top again? I would say 50/50. To achieve this, he may need to lift his foot off the vodka and impose better self discipline,” added Berger.
“I would be surprised if he had the strength, ambition and discipline needed to return to where he was before his departure. That said, do not underestimate him as he is a very fast driver and I hope he will succeed with his comeback,” concluded the Austrian.
