Formula 1 newcomer, Mexican Sergio Perez admitted that his idol was once Kimi Raikkonen and said that he wanted to follow in his footsteps.

Perez, as Raikkonen made his debut in the Sauber and also in his first race in Melbourne, finishing in 7th place. But Raikkonen then moved up to sixth place after a fine Olivier Panis, and Perez was suspended due to a mismatch machine regulations. 

"Kimi has always been my hero – says Sergio. – It was very fast, and during the interview he was always distinguished by the fact that staring directly into the eyes of someone who asked him a question. I want to become a world champion and I hope that my career will develop as well as for Kimi. "
