Former Formula 1 star Kimi Räikkönen makes his debut on a music video. Räikkönen plays a major role in Finnish pop star Arttu Wiskari’s music video for the song named Sorateiden sankarit.

Finnish singer Arttu Wiskari and Kimi Räikkönen are considered to be friends and Wiskari got Kimi Räikkönen to star in his third music video. Wiskari told Finnish music media The Voice that Räikkönen starred in the video for free.

This is the fist time that World Champion Formula 1 driver is seen playing a role in a music video. In the video Räikkönen is of course seen driving a race car.

- It is so great to get Kimi to star in the video. I’ve still got goosebumps! I know Kimi though a mutual friend. Me and my band played a show for Kimi, since he likes my music and invited us to play for him. Kimi had listened to my album and liked my songs. Kimi and I have talked a lot about music together, Arttu Wiskari told The Voice.

Wiskari is very proud of the fact that a man such as Kimi Räikkönen listens to his music.

- You’d think that he just spends time sunbathing in Monaco. I wouldn’t think that he would discover my music but he did and I am very glad.

Wiskari described “The Iceman” Kimi Räikkönen as a nice fellow with a good sense of humour.

- I was pretty reserved when I first talked to him. I soon discovered that he’s a funny guy and we could talk openly. It tells a lot about a person that they agree to star in someone’s debut album’s music video. It’s amazing.

The music video starring Kimi Räikkönen can be seen only on The Voice’s website from Friday to Sunday.
